Overview

"TRUANT" is a spectacular downeast fly bridge cruising yacht assured to turns heads in any harbor. She is one of the most recognizable yachts in New England, offered by her second owner following a number of enjoyable seasons. It would be very difficult to surpass the quality, performance accomodations and style of this 70 foot traditional fly bridge motor yacht!

Vicem Yachts, the noted Turkish builder of fine handcrafted classic style motor yachts are well known for their high level of quality, joinery and elegance. They utilize only the finest materials and state of the art composite construction techniques. An added benefit is the quiet solid feeling of this hull moving through the water unlike the highly resonant noise of a foam core composite.

The spacious 3-stateroom layout is capable of sleeping up to eight; in addition there is a separate crew cabin and head aft of the main living quarters. Features include a custom interior arrangement plan and décor, a fully equipped gourmet galley and lively performance from the upgraded 1365hp MAN Diesels. The volume of space and the level of amenities are comparable to that of a much larger yacht.

TRUANT can be owner operated with or without the assistance of crew occupying a separate crew cabin. She has been professionally maintained by New England?s leading yards stored half the year in a heated shed. This yacht represents an exceptional value with substantial savings over the cost of a new Vicem or others in the class.

Features include a custom interior arrangement plan, recently updated décor, a fully equipped gourmet galley and spectacular tilework and detail. The volume of space and the level of amenities are comparable to that of a much larger yacht.

"TRUANT" can be owner operated with or without the assistance of crew which when present can occupy the separate crew cabin. She has been professionally maintained by New England?s leading yards and stored off season in a heated shed. "TRUANT" represents an exceptional value with substantial savings over the cost of a new Vicem or others in the class.

Accomodations

When entering the main salon, you immediately recognize the high level of quality. There is fine Mahogany woodwork with high gloss finish throughout the boat and the attention to detail is striking! The area is encompassed by glass, permitting great views and allowing an abundance of natural light to flow through the boat. Along the port side of the salon there is a full bank of cabinetry with custom draws and shelving for china, glassware and entertainment systems. To starboard there is a custom fabric upholstered settee (2 matching chairs opposite) with a coffee table and built in end tables. The lower helm is forward with a bench seat for two and a wine refrigerator beneath.

The wrap-around windshield forward of the helm area also serves as a skylight for the galley, which is just a few steps down on the port side. The galley is the centerpiece of the boat and would rival that of any mega-yacht. Features include marble countertops, high-end appliances and an island workstation with matching marble counter. There is also a washer and dryer built in and smartly hidden away behind the cabinetry.

Opposite the galley is the VIP guest stateroom with twin berths (fore & aft), en-suite head, flat screen TV, storage and hanging lockers. Forward along the starboard side  is the second guest stateroom, which can sleep up to four in bunks or covert to twin cabin for two. The berths are twin size arranged in an L-shaped fashion, with Pullman berths above. Each berth has its own small flat-screen TV with privacy headset, (great for children). There is also an en-suite head with large stall shower.

The spacious Master stateroom is forward and has a queen size island berth, a large vanity table with mirrored cabinetry, flat-screen TV, ensuite head and oversized hanging lockers and drawer storage. Each head aboard "TRUANT" features custom granite countertop with an under-mounted sink, a separate stall shower with custom Italian tile work and mirrored cabinetry. A crew cabin with twin berth and private head is located aft of the engine room.

Opposite to starboard there is a built in cabinet, which houses an icemaker, refrigerator, sink and grill. The salon is accessed via varnished mahogany sliding doors with glass panels. There is a Bimini that covers the aft deck if desired or boot it up to enjoy open sky. The walk-around side decks have a substantial stainless steel railing and a varnished mahogany toe rail.

The flybridge features double bench seats accomodating the helmsman and several guests, a U-shaped dinette table, a full wet bar with refrigerator as well as a large stainless steel barbeque grill round out the amenities. Comments

?TRUANT? has seen relatively light use by her original and second & current owner. She has typically been stored indoors during the Northern off-season. Experts were brought in during the construction process to enhance the on board systems and décor. Down East style yachts in this size range are limited and Vicem may be the leading producer worldwide.

Exclusions

The name ?TRUANT? is reserved. Owner?s personal effects, tools, loose galley items, artwork, all items seen aboard or in photos but not specifically stated on this listing sheet shall be considered to be excluded from the sale.
