"PEACE and QUIET" exhibits conscientious care by her current and second owners of ten years. She has been sailed locally in Long Island Sound with annual cruises throughout New England. Her owners have updated and maintained the boat consistently keeping her safe, reliable and seaworthy. The 370 Sun Odyssey is among the nicest performing entries in this size range for performance cruising. Her conventional hoist full battened main deliver plenty of power vs. the commonly found in mast furling mains which leave much to be desired. Your inspection is suggested if considering a well maintained shoal draft sloop at a great value.

Manufacturer Description
Designed by Jacques Fauroux, the Sun Odyssey 37 combines beauty with performance. This twin personality is perfectly illustrated by Jeanneau cruising sailboats. The best examples are the smooth roof design and the deck layout. The helmseats set out to the cockpit coamings provide the ideal position for steering. On the performance side, the keel - ballast ratio improves sailing stability, and the generous sail area keeps the boat moving well under all conditions. The Sun Odyssey 37 comes standard with quality sailing hardware. Of note are the Harken two-speed self-tailing winches, the block of stoppers for sail controls led to the cockpit, the genoa furler, the "full batten" mainsail, the electric windlass, and the swim ladder and stern shower for refreshing swims off the stern. Everything desired for safety and comfort is included as standard. The Sun Odyssey 37 is an extremely comfortable boat below. The layout is designed for practical and comfortable cruising. In the two-cabin version, the interior is centered around a salon - L-shaped galley with a traditional nav table to port. Located aft is a very large and well-ventilated washroom with a marine head and shower. The two cabins spread across the full forward beam and, to starboard, the wide space aft. The cabins have comfortable berths, lots of floor space, storage cabinets and lockers, and opening hull ports for good ventilation.

The double cabin arrangement offers a very spacious aft cabin to starboard, and forward cabin in the bow. The salon is large with plenty of seating and a generous U-shaped dinette with large Teak table. The nav station is forward facing to port just forward to the head with separate stall shower. Across to starboard is the L-shaped galley nicely equipped with large refer/freezer and plenty of storage. The interior fabric option is a nautical striped Beige in main salon and striped Blue in cabins.
The Teak interior is sturdily constructed and finished in satin varnish. Engine access is good beneath the companionway steps with key components accessible. The electrical panel is conveniently located adjacent to the nav station and well laid out.

The cockpit is large and well laid out with plenty of seating. Beautiful Blue striped seat cushions make it especially comfy and a flip up/down leaf table accommodates dining alfresco. The deck is well laid out and workable with most lines lead aft. A dodger, bimnini with link panel and full cockpit enclosure provides comfort in nearly any weather.

The salon offers 6'3" standing headroom with entry to head to port across from the galley
