1977 Burger 64
Essex, Connecticut
Year
1977
Length
64 ft
Price
$225,000
"MERCATOR" is the last of Burger's proud line of 64' Aluminum Cruisers built throughout the 70's. She has a flying bridge equipped with a duplicate set of steering and engine controls similar to those installed in the pilot house, VIP guest stateroom, full beam master stateroom aft with additional guest cabin forward. This cabin is suitable for crew as well as extended family or guests. The lounge, stairwell, pilothouse and aft passageway are done in specially selected Korina wood, and all exterior wood trim is varnished Teak.
She's powered by a pair of Caterpillar 3406 turbocharged / aftercooled diesel engines which cruise her around 12-14 knots with top speed approaching 18 knots. She offers a stable ride thanks to the well designed S&S hull form.
Designed by Sparkman & Stephens she is remarkably well engineered and built to the highest standards by Burger Yachts.
She's quite unique in that she has been kept virtually original other than systems updates and improvements. Don't miss this opportunity to own an elegant classic Burger, a true American classic!
