"GINGER SNAP" is a nice example of the popular BHM Flye Point 32 Cruiser designed by Spencer Lincoln. She's built by Atlantic Boat Works in Brooklin, ME as a built down, full keel, semi displacement downeast style lobster boat. Over 500 have been built since 1978 in varying configurations from working fishing/lobster boats to cruisers. This one is the cruising Flybridge platform with enclosed pilothouse, dual stations, galley up, sleeping cabin and head with a stall shower. She's powered with a 250 hp Cummins 6BTA 5.9 turbo diesel with reporting 1860 hrs in January 2022. This vessel is equipped with air conditioning/reverse cycle heat however it is presently disabled due to space sacrifice in the hanging locker, reportedly function may be restored. She offers good performance cruising in the 12kn range while burning around 5 gph.

ACCOMODATIONS
Entry is via the large cockpit and up a step into the enclosed salon. There is a stainless steel ladder to the flybridge to port with two molded seat / storage boxes. Entering the salon there is a L-Settee to port, free standing chair across to starboard with storage/entertainment center with overhead storage locker. Forward in the salon is the L-shaped Galley to port and lower helm station across to starboard with seat. The pilot house is fitted with numerous aft and side windows and forward windscreen, many opening.
Several steps down on centerline lies the lower deck with head with stall shower to port, hanging locker and bureau to starboard and vee berth forward with additional storage. The chain locker is accessed through the forward bulkhead. There are shelves and open lockers outboard and storage under the vee berth. An overhead deck hatch, and opening ports provide plenty of ventilation. A varnished teak door encloses the forward cabin for privacy.
The head includes a sink, hot and cold pressure water, Vacuflush marine toilet (2007), lockers, and a separate stall shower.

The interior joinery in is varnished solid teak trim and white laminates "Herreshoff" style. Access to the engine room is via sound insulated hatches in the salon sole. The cabin sole is a gray fiberglass which is covered by a carpet. There are reading lights, dome lights, and some fluorescent lights throughout the cabin. The interior berth cushions have been recently recovered in Sunbrella canvas. The salon overhead is finished with perforated SoundDown insulation with varnished teak battens.
